Eric Jackwin is the founder and managing attorney of Jackwin Legal, P.A. A former federal prosecutor with the United States Department of Justice, Eric brings a rare combination of courtroom experience and transactional depth to every client relationship. He has tried cases in federal courts across the country and has handled complex white collar investigations, serious felony matters, and multi-agency federal prosecutions.
After years of public service, Eric transitioned to private practice to serve individuals, families, and business owners across South Florida. Today, he leads both the firm’s criminal defense and transactional practice groups, a dual focus that reflects his belief that great legal counsel must see the full picture of a client’s life.
On the criminal defense side, Eric represents clients facing federal charges, white collar investigations, and serious felony allegations. On the transactional side, he counsels clients on estate planning, business formation and governance, and real estate transactions. His ability to bridge these disciplines allows him to protect clients from every angle.
Eric is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the District of Columbia. He earned his B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
