Eric Jackwin is the founding partner of Jackwin Legal, P.A. For the past decade, he has focused his practice on transactional work, leading the firm’s transactional practice and counseling individuals, families, and business owners across South Florida on estate planning, business formation and governance, and real estate transactions.
Eric is known for his exhaustive approach to every matter — he masters the details, anticipates what others overlook, and leaves no stone unturned. That same rigor makes him a key resource to the firm’s criminal defense team, where he serves as head of research, working alongside the defense attorneys on case strategy and the in-depth legal analysis that complex federal and white collar matters demand.
Today, Eric is bringing that thoroughness to a wider audience. While he remains the firm’s founding partner, he has stepped back from day-to-day practice to build an estate planning platform designed to solve problems and challenges seen from his decade of experience and making estate planning accessible to more families.
Eric is admitted to practice in the State of Florida, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the District of Columbia. He earned his B.A. from Florida Atlantic University and his J.D. from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad College of Law. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star.
