S. Melissa Scott is an associate attorney at Jackwin Legal, P.A., where she co-leads the firm’s transactional practice alongside Eric Jackwin. Melissa counsels individuals, families, and business owners on estate planning, business formation and governance, and real estate transactions throughout South Florida.
Melissa brings a detail-oriented and client-focused approach to every matter. She believes that strong transactional counsel starts with understanding each client’s full picture, including their family, their business, and their long-term goals. This philosophy allows her to craft legal strategies that protect clients today and position them for the future.
Before joining Jackwin Legal, Melissa developed her skills at a boutique law firm in Fort Lauderdale, where she focused on real estate and business law. Her background gives her a practical, hands-on perspective that clients value.
